Linda Sue Waters

Mrs. Linda Sue Waters, age 48, of Lake City, Florida died Saturday, June 3, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following a long illness.  She had resided in Lake City, Florida most of life. She was a homemaker and a Christian who loved her grandchildren dearly. She also loved camping, shopping and always cared for everyone else.  She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie James Christie and her brother, Charlie George Christie.  She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Ray Waters of Lake City, Florida: Her four daughters, Tiffany (William) Bever and Amy Chapman both of Lake City, Florida, Jessica (Brandon) Russell of Palatka, Florida and Cristy (Jason) Nave of Flowery Branch, Georgia:  Her mother, Donne Sue (Ed) King of Lake Butler, Florida:  One sister, Teri Barcia of Lake City, Florida:  Twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Waters will be at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 8, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Nave of Flowery Branch, Georgia officiating. Interment will be in Waters Cemetery, Columbia County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday (One hour before services) at the funeral home.
