Ms Lisa Lites Swearingen, 49 of Ft. White, was born in Spring Valley, New York on November 22, 1964 and then moved to Ft. White in December of 1984. In 2008, she earned an A.S. Degree in Health Administration and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in 2011. Lisa was a loving, kind hearted person whom enjoyed life, but struggled with Crohn’s Disease. Lisa lost her long battle with Crohn’s on Friday, March 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Thompson Lites and her husband, Jason Swearingen.
Survivors include her father, Robert L. Lites, Ft. White; her father and mother in law, Terry and Barbara Swearingen, Lake City; and lots of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Mikesville Presbyterian Church in Lake City with Pastor Rhonda Cummings officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM, prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crohn’s Disease Foundation or Mikesville Presbyterian Church at 384 Clubhouse Road, Lake City, FL 32025.
