Mrs. Lois L. Bennett, age 83, of Glen St. Mary, Fla. died Thursday, July 17, in the St. Vincents Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fla. following a long illness. She was born in Moniac, Georgia and had resided in Glen St. Mary, Fla. for 47 years. She worked as a nursing aid with Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny, Fla. for over 27 years. She was a member of the Moniac Baptist Church, Moniac, Ga. and enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball and television game shows. She was preceded in death by her parents, Corley and Ada Raulerson and her husband, Elmer Lee Bennett. She is survived by her daughter, Lora A. (K.C.) Waller of Maxville, Fla.: Her son, Mikell B. (Dale) Bennett of Taylor, Fla.: Sister-in-law, Ethel Raulerson of Moniac, Ga.: 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-children also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, July 22, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Raulerson, Pastor of Pine Level Church, officiating. Interment will be in North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, July 21, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla. www.guerryfuneralhome.net
