Ms. Lorine Hodges, age 87, of Macclenny, Florida died Saturday, Jan. 30, in the St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside, Jacksonville, Florida following a long illness. She was born in Baxley, Georgia and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Macclenny, Florida in 1980. She was a homemaker and member of the Macclenny Assembly of God Church. She loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Earl Hodges, her two sons, Virgil Hodges and Jimmy Hodges and her parents, Eddie Lee and Lunar Carter Bullard. She is survived by five children, Doris (Robert) Brown, Billy (Rebecca) Hodges, Sarah (Stanley) Holland and Kenneth Hodges all of Macclenny, Florida and Patricia (Ray) Wester of St. Augustine, Florida: 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Hodges will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, Feb. 3, in the Chapel of GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Florida with Rev. Josh Potts, Pastor of the Macclenny Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Baker County, Florida .
