Mrs. Lorine Starling, age 83, of Macclenny, Florida died Tuesday, March 10, in the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center, Macclenny, Florida following a long illness. She worked for many years as a cashier and waitress at the Midget Burger, Blue Haven and Hutto’s restaurant and Walt’s Truck Stop. She was a member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, yard sales and fishing in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lovie Starling Prevatt and her late husband, Neal Starling. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy (Joseph) Harris of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: Her son, Jack (Diane) Crews of St. George, Georgia: One sister, Minnie Crews of Macclenny, Fla.: Five grandchildren, Mark, Brittany, Colt, Dalton, and Cheyenne: Six great-grandchildren, Destiny, Peyton, McKinzie, Bentlee, Peyson and Linzie. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, March 12, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Macclenny, Florida with Elder David Crawford, Pastor of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday (One hour before services) at the funeral home.
