Lottie Bell Wilkinson

March 15, 1929 — January 17, 2011

Mrs. Lottie Bell Wilkinson, age 81 of Taylor, Florida died Monday, January 17 in the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center in Macclenny following a long illness. She was a native of Homerville, Georgia and had resided in Taylor, Florida most of her life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed making clothes and doing seamtress work, fishing and cooking meals for her family. She was a member of the Taylor Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Agie Jessie Trowell and Zeala Lee Jordan Trowell, her late husbands, Lemmie Bennett and Harry Wilkinson, Sr., her son, Lemmie Joe Bennett, her daughter Alice Marie Bennett, four sisters, Dorothy Mixon, Linnie Prescott, Martha Ann Trowell and Mary Ann Trowell and two brothers, Lonnie Trowell and L.A. Trowell.

She is survived by eleven daughters, Kitty Blanks, Evelyn Ellis, Debbie Finley and Lottie Beatrice Rewis all of Taylor, Fl., Rubby Lauramore, Orange Park, Fl., Kathy Waldo, St. George, GA, Cynthia Buchanan, Jacksonville, Fl, Brenda Gail Jones, Middleburg, Fl. and Martha Sue Garris, Callahan, Fl; Four sons, A.J. Bennett and Bobby Bennett both of Taylor, Fl, Harry Wilkinson, Jr., Starke, Fl and George Allen Wilkinson, Macclenny; Three sisters, Rosie Stone, Pearson, GA., Eloise Poster, Homerville, GA and Betty Jordan, Americus, GA; 29 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2011 in the Taylor Church with Rev. Jim Cox, Associate Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, Fl. Visitation with the family will be from 6-9 pm Wednesday evening at the Taylor Church, Taylor, Fl.
