Louise Stone Pierce

Ms. Louise Pierce, age 102, passed away Sunday, June 9th in the UF Health St. Johns, St. Johns, FL. She was a native of and a lifelong resident of Baker County, FL. Ms. Pierce was the daughter of the late Colquit and Ethel Dugger Stone. She was a graduate of the Baker County High School and retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture after 33 years of service. Ms. Louise was a member of the Heritage Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Billy Pierce, son, Dale A. Pierce, and brothers, Bobby, Harold, and J.D. Stone. Ms. Louise is survived by her son, Robert J. Pierce (Cynthia) of Ponte Vedra, FL, 5 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. A funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Pierce will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, June 13th at the Heritage Church with Pastor Bryan Simpson officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will begin at 10 A.M. Interment will follow the funeral service in Macedonia Cemetery.
