Mrs. Lucille Dinkins Conner, age 82, of Sanderson, Fla. died Thurday, July 26, in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, Fla. following a sudden illness. She was born in the Taylor community of Baker County and lived there her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Marvin Taylor Dinkins. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil Conner of Sanderson, Fla.: Nine children, Betty Fay (Thomas) Dyal and Janet (Charlie) Easterday both of Sanderson, Fla., Essie Mae (Jimmy) Thrift of Macclenny, Fla., Lawton (Charlene) Conner, Susie (George) Franks, Christean (Tom) Raley, Raymond (Tammy) Conner, and Angie (Eddie) Williams all of Glen St. Mary, Fla. and Brenda (Ronnie) Canaday of St. George, Ga.: Daughter-in-law, Donna White Conner of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: Two brothers, Robert (Teresa) Dinkins and Nathaniel Dinkins both of Glen St. Mary,Fla.: One sister, Blanche Long of Providence, Fla.: Twenty-one grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday, July 29, in the Taylor Church, Taylor, Fla. with Rev. Shannon Conner, Pastor of the Macclenny Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday,July 28, at Guerry Funeral Home.
