Lucinda Lauramore

Ms. Lucinda Davis Lauramore, age 96 of Macclenny, FL passed away peacefully on Friday, February 19, in the Frank Well’s Nursing Home, Macclenny, FL. She was born in Sanderson, FL on March 5, 1924 to the late Isaac and Loma (Raulerson) Davis. Ms. Lucinda was a homemaker and a wonderful mother to 14 children. She enjoyed word games, and crocheting. Ms. Lauramore is preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, her late husband, R.L. Lauramore and three children, Isaac “Bud”, Mitchell Lee and Lisa Ann Lauramore. She is survived by one brother: Isaac “Dick” (Eloise) Davis of Macclenny, FL: one sister, Joyce (Ricky) Wilkinson of Glen St. Mary, FL: five daughters, Ruby (Richard) Payne of Sanford, FL, Juanita Lancaster of Murphy, NC, Christine “Bill” Thompson, Jeanette (Tiny) Robinson and Josie (J.B.) Martin, all of Macclenny, FL: six sons, Marvin (Rachel) of Sanderson, FL, Bo of Gainesville, FL, A.C. (Donna) of Satsuma, FL, Rich (Liz) of Satsuma, FL, Tommy (Janet) of Macclenny, FL and Riley (Beverly) of Satsuma, FL. Ms. Lauramore had 14 children, 33 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ms. Lucinda will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 24th, at her church, Christian Fellowship Temple, with Pastors David and Timmy Thomas officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, February 23rd at the church. Interment will be held at Turner Cemetery following the funeral services.
