Lynard Dicks

Mr. Richard Lynard Dicks, age 43, of Lulu, Florida died Monday, Nov. 8, at his residence. Mr. Dicks had resided in Lulu, Florida all of his life. He owned and operated Hot Spot Fitness & Tanning in Live Oak, Lake City and Gainesville, Florida for over 20 years. He was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed bow hunting for deer. He also competed in professional body building events and MMA-Mixed Marshall Arts as a hobby and was a former Mr. Lake City in body building. Mr. Dicks was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Ann Daughtry. He is survived by his father, Terrell D. Dicks of Lulu, Florida; two sisters, Terry (Mike) Eason of Lulu, Florida and Codi (Evan) Maulden of Lake City, Florida and his aunt, Phyllis Dicks. A private service for Mr. Dicks will be held at a later date. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
