Lynda Combs

Ms. Lynda Lou Combs, 70 of Glen St. Mary, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Baker County and a daughter to the late Colonel Wallace and Wilma Jeanette Beasley Combs. Ms. Combs enjoyed fishing, going to the mountains and taking cruises with her family. She was a fulltime grandmother and devoted her time to her daughter and grandchildren. Ms. Combs was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Kennedy in 2014. Survivors include her daughter, Stacey L. Combs (David Bryant), Macclenny; one brother, Junior Combs (Gail), Baldwin; four sisters, Barbara Croft (Johnnie), Olustee, Sandra Nickles (Jim), Glen St. Mary, Pat Davis (Lester), Glen St. Mary and Karen Little (Rodney), Lake City; one brother in law, Steve Kennedy, Macclenny; five grandchildren, Cameron Hauge, Madison Hauge, Mallory Hauge, Chelsey Bryant and Brianna Bryant; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family also survives. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Christian Fellowship Temple in Macclenny with Jeff Davis and Jim Nickles officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
