Mrs. Mable E. Hammond Feagle, age 87, of Lake City, Florida died Wednesday, Dec. 24, in the Avalon Healthcare Center, Lake City, Florida following a long illness. She was born in Zellwood, Florida and had resided in Lake City, Florida since 1938. She was a homemaker and a member of the Evangel Church of God, a preacher, gospel singer and taught Sunday school at the Avalon Health Care Center for 18 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Braxton and Adeline Severs Hammond, her late husband, Rev. Julian L. “Buck” Feagle, her son, Ivey L. Feagle, Sr., two sisters, Marguerite Deckard and Gladys Feagle and her brother, Braxton Hammond. She is survived by her two daughters, Kathryn (Donald) Register of Lake City, Florida and Julia (Jesse) Byrd of Fort White, Florida: daughter-in-law, Louise Feagle of Jasper, Florida: Step-sister, Iris Richardson of Macclenny, Florida: Nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Monday, Dec. 29, in the Evangel Church of God with Rev. John Hathaway, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Glen Barrs of Branford, Florida. Interment will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Columbia County, Florida. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 P.M. Sunday, Dec. 28, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
