Mrs. Maderline Strickland Turner, age 85, of Macclenny, Florida died Sunday, Dec. 19, in the Acosta-Rau Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Fla. following an extended illness. She was a native of Jasper, Florida and daughter of the late Perry Strickland and Bell Larkins Strickland. She had resided in Jacksonville, Fla. many years before moving to Macclenny, Fla. in 1978. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baker County Council on Aging who loved her family and enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Turner. She is survived by her four sons, William Bruce Edwards and wife Barbara of Jasper, Ga., Robert Joseph Edwards and wife Lisa of Jacksonville, Fla., Paul Edwards of Macclenny, Fla and Perry Thomas Edwards and wife Julie of Jacksonville, Fla.: Two sisters, Gertrude Marie Anderson and Sybil Hinton both of Jasper, Fla.: Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren survive. Graveside fi=unreal services will be conducted at 2 P.M., Wednesday, Dec. 22, in the Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper, Fla. with Mr. Bob Edwards speaking a eugoly of his mother. Visitation will be at the graveside from 1 to 2 P.M., Wednesday (One hour before service). GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
