Mr. Main Outlaw, age 88, of Macclenny, Fla. died Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the VA Medical Center, Lake City, Fla. following a long illness. He was a native of Moniac, Georgia and had resided in Macclenny, Fla. for the past 65 years. He worked as a truck driver for Southern Concrete Co. Jacksonville, Fla. for 28 years until his retirement in 1979. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Macclenny, Fla., an Army Veteran of WW II and loved to hunt, fish and work in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents William Henry and Millie Thrift Outlaw, his son, William Henry Outlaw and his sister Mamie Sands.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Ida Pearl Outlaw of Macclenny, Fla.: His daughter, Willie Hazel (Tom) Bell of Fruitcove, Fla.: Two grandchildren Joshua Taylor Bell and Aaron Christopher Bell: His great-granddaughter Kennedy Peyton Bell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday, Feb. 25, in the First Baptist Church with Dr. Edsel Bone, Senior Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Bob Christmas, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Sanderson, Fla. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Fla. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday, Feb. 24, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Fla.
