Mrs. Margaret Doris Fraser, age 88, of Macclenny, Fla. died Monday, Jan. 16, in the St. Vincents Medical center, Jacksonville, Fla. after a short illness. She was born in Jacksonville, Fla. and had resided in Macclenny, Fla. most of her life. She had worked at Northeast Florida State Hospital and later was employed as an x-ray technician with Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital for many years until her retirement in 1986. She was a loving mother and grandmother an was a master at sewing and knitting cloth items. She enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and Florida Gator sports. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ozzie Nelson Anderson and Minnie Baldree Anderson, her brother J.B. Anderson and sister-in-law, Lilly Anderson.
She is survived by three daughters, Margie (Leonard) Norman, Paulette Thomes and Marie (Luckie) Bell all of Macclenny, Fla.: Her two sons, Aubrey (Carla) Fraser of Ocala, Fla. and Mott (Patricia) Fraser of Lake City, Fla.: One sister, Catherine (Gene) Smith of Macclenny, Fla.: Two brothers, Oswald Anderson of Jacksonville, Fla. and Reuel (Hilda) Anderson, Cochran, GA.: Fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Thursday, Jan. 19, in the First Baptist Church, Macclenny, Fla. with Dr. Edsel M. Bone, Senior Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME.
