Marjorie Elizabeth Lott

Ms. Marjorie Elizabeth Lott, age 89 of Lake City, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2025. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to the late Noah and Marjorie Heath and lived in the Lake City area for most of her life. A registered nurse, Ms. Lott was proud to care for the veterans at the VA Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed attending Christian Fellowship Church in Lake City where she was a member and enjoyed gardening and painting. She is survived by her son: David Cozatt of Bay City, Michigan; daughter: Margaret (Nelson) Vanderpool of Lake City; brother: David Heath of Live Oak; ten grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, July 13, 2025, in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Lake City, Florida with Reverend Mark Cady officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm on the day of the service at the funeral home. Ms. Lott will be laid to rest, privately, at the Huntsville Methodist Church Cemetery in Lake City.
