Mark Charles Swanko
June 21, 1961 — March 25, 2017
Mr. Mark Charles Swanko, 55, of Coral Gables, Florida passed away after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his father, retired Major Edward Henri Swanko, in 2002 and his brother, Edward Henri Swanko, Jr. in 2014.
Survivors include his sister Kathy Poope (Rick) Piedmont, SC, brother, John Swanko, Live Oak, FL, sisters Dorothy Buenacasa, Columbia, MO, Mary Ann Truzzolino (Gary) Wellington, FL, Debbie Hendricks (Wayne) Huntersville, NC, Jane Souaid (Robert) Palm Beach, FL, Bernadette Hereth (Ric) Columbia, MO, Martiele Swanko, Pembroke Pines, FL and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends also survive.
A private service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Florida National Cemetery with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
