Mark Patrick Thompson

Mr. Mark Patrick Thompson, age 42, of Hollywood, Florida died Friday, July 24, at his residence in Hollywood, Florida from a long illness.  He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided in Delray Beach and Hollywood, Fla. most of his life. He worked as a customer service representative for many airlines before ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed shopping, traveling and his animals.  He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Vincent Thompson, Sr. and a brother, Arthur Vincent Thompson, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Jannett Thompson of Macclenny, Florida, friend and companion, Orlando Marin of Hollywood, Florida: numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.  A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Thompson will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, July 30, in the Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 29, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida.
