Mrs. Martha Ann Crews, age 71, of Lake City, Florida died Tuesday, Aug. 4, at her residence following a long illness. She was born in Glennville, Georgia and resided in Macclenny, Florida for over 20 years before moving to Lake City, Florida 15 years ago. She was a homemaker and member of Hopeful Baptist Church, Lake City, Fla. She enjoyed flowers , gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raiford L. and Amy E. Gordon Hardenbrook. She is survived by her husband, Vernon M. Crews of Lake City, Fla.: Her daughter, Cindy (Paul) Given of Lake City, Fla.: Two sons, Tim Gillam of Lake City, Fla. and Mike Gillam of Milton, Fla.: Two step-children, Gary (Kim) Crews of Jacksonville, Fla. and Vickey Petty of Waco, Ga.: three sisters, Hazel Terrell and Betty Parker both of Glennville, Ga. and Lois Terrell of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren also survive. A remembrance service to honor the life of Mrs. Crews will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, Aug. 8, in the Hopeful Baptist church with Rev. Mark Cunningham and Rev. Richard Rodriguez, associate pastors, officiating. Interment will be in Hopeful Cemetery. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M.
