Marvin Thomas, Sr.

Mr. Marvin Thomas, Sr., age 81 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Wednesday, May 15th at UF Health, Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Mr. Thomas was born in Macclenny, FL to the late Mac Thomas and Ida Belle Rewis. He was raised in Baker County and moved to Jacksonville 60 years ago. He worked as a mechanic at Moon’s Garage and was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, stepmom, Ruby Thomas and son, Marvin Thomas, Jr. He is survived by his aunt, Peggy Joyce Harvey of Jacksonville, FL. A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Thomas will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, May 20th in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, FL with Pastor Nathaniel Simmons officiating.
