Marvin Ray Stafford

Mr. Marvin Ray Stafford, age 69, of Macclenny, FL passed away Tuesday, January 24th at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Stafford was a lifelong resident of Baker County, FL and attended Taylor Church. He worked as a superintendent for Acousti Engineering for over 40 years until his retirement. Mr. Stafford was a former member of the Lions Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mildred Davis Stafford, his wife, Donna Faye Rhoden Stafford and brother, David Stafford. Mr. Stafford is survived by three sons, Brandon Stafford (Crystal) of Atlanta, GA, Cary Lawler (Shelley) of Glen St. Mary, FL and Cody Stafford (Brittany) of Glen St. Mary, FL: one daughter, Cateena Reed (Henry) of Sanderson, FL: two brothers, Steve Stafford (Clois) of Macclenny, FL and Jerry Stafford of Lake Butler, FL: nine grandchildren, Kason Taylor, Krista Taylor, Kraydon Stafford, Corey Lawler, Kelly Moran, Kyler Gabe Lawler, Maverick Stafford, Easton Jackson, Gina Way and Aaliyah Way: four great grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Stafford will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, January 28th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Mark  Woods officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before services). Interment will follow the funeral service in South Prong Cemetery.
