Mary Ann Aldridge

Mrs. Mary Ann Aldridge, age 77, of Macclenny, Florida died Saturday, July, 18, at the home of her daughter in Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. She was born in Blountstown, Florida and lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Macclenny, Florida 43 years ago. She was employed in the processing department of Prudential Insurance, Jacksonville, Florida for over 17 years, then enjoyed the role of homemaker until her death. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church , Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her late husband, David Marion Aldridge, her parents, James C. and Ossie Barbee Ellis and two brothers, Lawrence Leonard Ellis and Sam Ellis. She is survived by her daughter, Kristiana R. (Dean) Starling of Jacksonville, Florida: Two sisters, Sandra Ellis of Glen St. Mary, Florida and Ginger Kraft of Starke, Florida: One brother, Bill (Geraldine) Ellis of Jacksonville, Florida: Three grandchildren, Braxton Wade Starling, Breeanna Rene Starling and Bayleigh Elizabeth Starling. A remembrance service to honor the life of Mrs. Aldridge will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, July 23, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Starling, Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M.
