Mr. Michael Leo Burnsed, Jr., age 24, of Baxter, Florida died Monday, Dec. 28, from injuries received in an automobile accident near his home. He was born in Orange Park, Florida and lived all of his life in the Baxter community of Baker County, Florida. He was working as an iron worker in the construction industry at the time of his death. He loved fishing in the St. Mary’s River and raising his young daughter. He is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Marie Burnsed of Baxter, Florida: His father, Michael Leo B urnsed, Sr. of Baxter, Florida: His mother, Mary Alice (Michael) Ninos of Jacksonville, Florida: Two sisters, Kayla Michelle Burnsed of Baxter, Florida and Juanita Easterling of Los Angeles, Calif.: His paternal grandmother, Margaret Altman of Lake Park, Georgia. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Burnsed will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, Dec. 31, in the Moniac Baptist Church, Moniac, Georgia with Elder Albert Altman and Rev. Gene Burnsed officiating. Interment will be in North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Viewing and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at the church.
