Michael Eugene “Mike” Johnson

Mr. Michael Eugene "Mike" Johnson, age 71, of Lake City, Florida passed away on July 12,2024 at his home following a long illness. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio and resided in Breman, Ohio before moving to Lake City, Florida in 1978. Mr. Johnson worked in the family business, Tire Mart of Lake City, for over 50 years. He was a graduate of Columbia High School, a member of the  Catholic faith, and loved working cattle, horses, old tractors and was a rodeo Dad. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Cindy Johnson of Lake City, Florida; his daughter, Michaela (Chaz) Robinson of Lake City, Florida; two sisters, Jeanne (Jim) Burke of Lake City, Florida and Joanne Ake of Lillington, North Carolina; two brothers, David Lee (Theresa) Johnson, Il and John Johnson both of Lake City, Florida; four step-children, Scott Behrenwald of Lake City, Florida, Troy C. Craig of Fort Meade, Maryland, Casey Craig of Pona City, Ok. and Anne Powers of Yorkshire, N.Y.  A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Johnson will be held at 2 P.M., Saturday, July 20th, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Joye officiating. Interment will be In Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday, July 19th, at GUERRRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
