Michael Thomas Shick

Michael Thomas Shick, 58 of Lake City, Florida passed away on Saturday September 19, 2015, at the VA Hospital in Gainesville. Michael was born to John Shick and Patricia Hogan in Erie, PA in 1957. Michael is of the Christian faith. He has resided in Lake City for the past 8 years relocating from the Fort Myers/Naples area. Mr. Shick proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and is a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed rugby, hunting, fishing, and golf but above all he was an avid Pittsburg Steelers and NASCAR fan. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Jackson Shick, parents, John and Patricia, Brother, John Shick Jr., sisters Maureen Suzanne, Heather Marie Gomez and Carolyn Sue O’Brien.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until service time. Burial will be Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
