Mr. Millage Burnsed, age 82, of Jacksonville, Florida died Friday, Dec. 19, in the Northeast Florida Community Hospice, Jacksonville, Florida following a long illness. He was born in the Baxter community of Baker County, Fla. and resided in Macclenny, Fla. before moving to Jacksonville, Fla. for many years and then back to Baxter, Fla. for 13 years and then lived in Jacksonville, Fla. until his death. He retired after 30 years of service as an aircraft overhaul and repair supervisor with the Naval Air Rework Facility (FRC Southeast) in Jacksonville, Fla. He was a member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church, an Army veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hardy and Mary Magdeline Rhoden Burnsed. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Crawford Burnsed of Jacksonville, Fla.: His daughter, Becky (John) Salsbury of Jacksonville, Fla.: Two sons, Greg (Gaye) Burnsed of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Keith (Sandy) Burnsed of Jacksonville, Fla.: One brother, Edward Burnsed of Lakeland, Fla.: Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Dec. 23, in the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Crawford, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Baker County, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, Dec. 21, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 420 East Macclenny Avenue, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Florida.
