Minnie Starling

Mrs. Minnie C. Starling, age 71, of Glen St. Mary, FL passed away Tuesday, July 30th in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, FL following an extended illness. Mrs. Minnie was born in Jacksonville,FL and was a lifelong resident of Baker County. She worked as a UTRS Supervisor for NEFSH for over 35 years until her retirement and was a member of Christian Fellowship Temple. Mrs. Minnie adored her family and loved to spend time with them traveling to the mountains and making memories at Wild Adventures. Anyone that knows Mrs. Minnie knows she enjoyed a burnt hotdog with chili and hanging out with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Harvey and Corrine Ryals Holton, two children, Jessica and April Marie Starling, two brothers, Bill and Marvin Lee Holton and one sister, Rhonda Holton. Mrs. Minnie is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Starling: son, Gerald Wyman Starling of Macclenny, FL: three daughters, Dana Barton of Glen St. Mary, FL, Heather Starling (Melissa) of Maxville, FL and Jennifer Starling of Glen St. Mary, FL: one brother, Harley Holton (Debra) of Taylor, FL: three sisters, Nancy Baker of AL, Barbara Cox (Frank) of Taylor, FL and Linda Daniels (Larry) of Macclenny, FL. Nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Starling will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, August 2nd at Christian Fellowship Temple with Pastors David and Timmy Thomas officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will begin at 10 A.M. Interment will follow the funeral service in Macedonia Cemetery.
