Mrs. Myra Lou Williams, age 68, of Lake City, Florida died
Wednesday, Feb. 24, at her home following a long illness.
She was born in Deposit, New York and resided in Sanderson, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida
51 years ago.
She worked as a cafeteria
manager with the Columbia County School Board for over 25 years and retired in 2001.
She was a member of the Lake City Church of God, loved traveling to the mountains, doing scrap books and enjoyed
being with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Logan Williams and her parents,
Milton “Rusty” Oralls and Deloris Davis Oralls.
She is survived by her two sons,
Jimbo (Mary) Williams and Darrell (Amy) Williams both of Lake City, Florida:
Five siblings, Dennis (Elaine) Oralls and Holly Merrtett both of Macclenny, Florida, Kyra (Sam) Lindey of Glen St. Mary, Florida, Cheryl (Marcus) Nipper and Vanessa (Eddie) Rhoden both of Sanderson, Florida: Five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Williams will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, Feb.
27, in the Lake City Church of God with Sister Alice Faye Williams officiating and assisted by Rev. Carroll Lee and Rev. Barney Hurst.
Interment will be in Williams Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday, Feb. 26, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME,
