Myrtle Fowler Overstreet

Mrs. Myrtle Fowler Overstreet, age 94, of Jacksonville, Florida died  Wednesday, Jan. 20, in the St. Vincents  Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida following a long illness. She was born in Cedar Key, Florida and lived in Jacksonville, Fla. for many years.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.  She was preceded in death by her parents, E.E. and Mary Baldree Fowler, her brothers, Joe, Nehemiah, Roy, William, Ebbot, Patrick and Raleigh:  her sisters, LoVida Broxson and Ann Larner: a daughter, Mary Evelyn Tucker: granddaughter, Jeanette Thomas:  Great-granddaughter, Belinda Slaughter, and great-grandson, Michael Javidi.  She is survived by one sister, Retha Fowler Stetter: six children, Myrtle Eleanor Mantooth of North Carolina,  Glenda Joyce Stark of Orlinda, Tennessee,  Darlene  Annie  Borrego of Mt. Juliet , Tennessee, LoVida  Edith Javidi of West Palm Beach, Florida, Retha  Marlene Basford of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and  one son, Robert Logan Tucker, Jr. of  Jacksonville, Florida:  19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at  3:30 P.M. Saturday, Jan. 23, in Bell Cemetery, Bell, Florida.  A visitation and gathering with the family will be from  1:30 to 2:30 P.M.
