Nancy Sluski

Ms. Nancy Moore Sluski, age 68, of Lakeland, FL passed away Tuesday, February 2 in the Acosta –Rua Center for Caring, Jacksonville, FL, following an extended illness. Ms. Sluski was born in Los Angeles, CA but had lived in Lakeland, FL for 39 years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lakeland, FL, and enjoyed sewing and going to the beach. Ms. Sluski was a dedicated foster parent and adopted two of her former foster children. She devoted her life to children and those with special needs. She is preceded in death by her late husband of 28 years, John Jay Sluski, her parents, Clarence and Marian Moore, and one brother, Clarence Moore. She is survived by, four sons, Luke Sluski of Lake City, Fl, Adam Sluski (Alesia) of North Carolina, Patrick Sluski (Elizabeth) of Sanderson, FL, and Jacob Sluski (Ashlee) of Ft. Meyers, FL: One brother, George Moore (Dawn) of Ocala, FL: One sister, Jo Ann Hilson (David) of Macclenny, FL: ten grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
