Mr. Nathan Floyd Burnsed, age 92, of Baxter, Florida died Monday, Oct. 26, in the Macclenny Nursing & Rehab Center, Macclenny, Florida following an extended illness. He had lived in the Baxter community of Baker County all of his life and owned and operated his farm all of his life until ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed all of his farming activities and loved fishing and hunting. Mr. Burnsed was an army veteran of W.W. II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Lossie Rhoden Burnsed and his late wife, Dorothy Holmes Raulerson Burnsed. He is survived by two daughters, Myra (Ernest) Long of Glen St. Mary, Florida and Anita Burnsed of Macclenny, Fla.: Two sons, Nathan M. (Shirlene) Burnsed of Bolling Springs, S.C. and Gary (Karen) Burnsed of Macclenny, Florida: One sister, Geneva Griffin of Jacksonville, Fla.: 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Burnsed will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 29, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Raulerson, Pastor of Pine Level Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M.
