Norma Jean Edwards

Mrs. Norma Jean Edwards, age 89, of Lake City, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 6, in the Bedrock Rehab and Nursing Home, Live Oak, Florida. Mrs. Edwards was born in Branford, Florida and resided there until moving to Lake City in 1960. She worked for many years with General Electric Company in a local manufacturing company and attended the Voice of Deliverance Church of Lake City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse James Koon and Thenie Collins Koon. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Durden Oplinger of Lake City, Florida; her son, Edwin Paul Durden of Lake City, Florida; Three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive. A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Edwards will be held at 3 P.M. Monday, March 10, in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery, Fort White, Florida with Richard Rodriguez, Pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
