Pamela Kay Mccormick

Mrs. Pamela Kay McCormick, age 69, of Macclenny, Florida died Sunday, Aug. 2, in the Baptist Medical Center Downtown, Jacksonville, Florida following a long illness. She was born in New Albany, Indiana and resided in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Macclenny, Florida in 1991. She was a former realtor, a radio D.J. for a gospel radio station in Louisville, KY. and while living in Macclenny she taught a ladies prison ministry for Baker County and the Macclenny Nursing & Rehab Center for many years. She enjoyed preaching, reading and studying the Bible and sharing the word with others. She was a member of the New Life Church of God, Macclenny, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Olivia Marie Nance and her sister, Wilma Dorothy Larson. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ralph M. McCormick, Sr. of Macclenny, Florida: Two daughters, Tabitha Kay (Robert F.) Gray of Sanderson, Fla. and Anna Marie (Joseph M.) Williams of Macclenny, Fla.: Three sons, Ralph M. (Beth) McCormick, Jr. of Berryville, Arkansas, Curt E. (Robin Lynn) McCormick of Pembroke, Ky. and Timothy L. (Cassie) McCormick of Clarksville, Tenn.: Two sisters, Betty Jean Love of New Albany, IN. and Donna Lucille Wright of Phoenix, AZ. : 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren also survive. A remembrance service to honor the life of Mrs. McCormick will be held at 11 A. M. Thursday, Aug. 6, in the New Life Church of God, Macclenny, Florida with Rev. Jack Pope, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Manntown Cemetery, Glen St. Mary, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M.
