Paul Thurman Martin

Mr. Paul Thurman Martin, 53 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Lake Shore Hospital. Paul was born in Ft. White in 1959 and graduated from Columbia High School in 1977. Paul had previously worked with Quality Fabrication in Lake City and also the Florida Department of Corrections. He enjoyed fishing, playing the piano and was of the Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Martin, Lake City; his parents, CT and Doris Martin, Ft. White; two brothers, Tommy Martin, Lake City and Jerry (Tassie) Martin, Ft. White; three sisters, Carolyn Johnson, Montana, Darlene (Darryl) Crawford, Providence and Rosemary (Michael) Jones, Panama City, FL; his father in law, Mun Wildon Cauley, Jr, Lake City; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Ft White Cemetery with Dr. Fritz Fountain and Rev. James Richardson officiating. Interment will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of GUERRY Funeral Home, Lake City.
