It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline Register Barton announces her passing after a brief illness at her home on April 19, 2012 at the age of 84.
Pauline is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Barton, parents Bart and Daisy Register, sisters, Sadie Mae (James) Barton, Alma Lee(E.W.) Barton and brother Hamp Register. Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dwight Barton and Sylvia Sapp both of Macclenny, Fla.:Pauline is also survived by her loving brother Tommy (Imogene) Register of Jacksonville, Fla.: Sister-in-laws, Shirley Barton Sharman of Macclenny, Fla. and Lettie Register of Sanderson, Fla.: Pauline will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Shannon (Brandy) Mobley of Sanderson, Fla. and Nanette Barton of Macclenny, Fla.: Great-grandchildren, Mallory, Zane and Whitley Mobley of Sanderson, Fla., Teanna, Tinsleigh, Taragan, and Tana Brooke Barton of Macclenny, Fla..As well as, numerous nephews and nieces.
Pauline will always hold a special place in the hearts of many loyal friends and family members. Phyllis and Jennifer Lewis, Paula T. Barton, Tonya Barton Clifton, June Barton, Jim Neff, and Hazel Solomon.
Pauline was a member of the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church, had worked at Anchor Glass Company, Jacksonville, Fla for many years and loved gardening, flowers, and cooking.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, April 23, in the Macclenny Primitive Baptist Chruch with Elder David Crawford officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Fla. Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, from 6 to 8 P.M. at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Fla.
