Ralph Alfred Moore

Ralph A. Moore "Fatman", 68, passed away at home March 5, 2012 following a brave fight with brain cancer. Ralph was a member of the 1961 graduating class of Columbia High School. He was a licensed Tile Contractor and Restaurant Proprietor, working side by side with his family he looked forward to each and every day. Ralph lived for his family, was proud of each of his Children and Grandchildren and always made sure a meal was cooked of their "favorites". He recently retired and returned to Lake City, Fl which he referred to as "God's Country". He is survived by his wife of 50 years Ann Little Moore, children Debi Henderson (Tom) of Charlotte NC, Bo Moore (Tammy) of Lake City, Fl and Jill Wheeler (Dale) of Cape Coral, Fl. Grandchildren: Jennifer Mick, Philip DeLeon, Kristy Henderson. Brittany Brizel, Shelby Moore, Somer Wheeler, Carly Moore, Sydney Wheeler and one Great Grandson Preston Furnbach. Siblings: Carl Moore, Lucille Sullivan, and Mark Moore and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Father Curtis Moore and Mother Iris Smith Moore. A celebration of Life will be held on Friday March 9, 2012, in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home at 7:00 P.m. with the Rev. Dusty Bailey, officiating. The family will receive friends Friday March 9, 2012 from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M. just prior to the service. Guerry Funeral Home 2659 SW Main Blvd. Lake City is in charge of arrangements.
