Mr. Rayburn Hall, age 71, of Jacksonville, Florida died Sunday, May 22, in the St. Vincents Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida following a sudden illness. He was born in Paint Rock, Alabama and resided in Huntsville, Alabama before moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1964. He worked as a truck driver with Paint Craft of Jacksonville, Florida for almost 20 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, stock car racing and blue grass music. He is survived by his companion of 50 years, Lagatha Mae “Jackie” James of Jacksonville, Florida: His brother, Rayford Hall of Jacksonville, Florida: His sister, Nancy Waters of Jacksonville, Florida: Four step-children, Patricia Harvey of Brunswick, Georgia, Janet McTyre, Joy Foster and Sue Smith all of Jacksonville, Florida. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Hall will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, May 27, in the Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church, 8380 Devo Street, Jacksonville, Florida with Dr. Noel Roberts, Pastor, officiating.
