Richard Ray Everhart, age 61 passed away at home May 25th after a lenghty illness. Rivh was born in Ontario, Oregon June 19, 1951 to Laurel and Ray Everhart and was raised in Boise, Idaho. He proudly served in the US Air Force for 6 years stationed in Californiaa. He moved to Lake City when Idaho Timber built their Lake City plant and ended up making his home here. he was married for 25 years to Patti Christie Everhart. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 5 brothers, Jerry (Kathy) of Tillamook, Oregon, Dennis (Sue) of California, Bill, Doug and Kenny (Jennifer) of Idaho. Two children, Jacob and Kirstin, and 5 grandchildren all of Phoenix, Arizona and many nieces and nephews scattered all over the Northwest. Rich loved working for Idaho Timber, loved inventing, building, and fixing those things he built when the need arose. He retired from Idaho Timber after nearly 30 years when his health declined. Per his wishes he will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation. The family wishes their privacy at this time.
