Richard Wayne Jones

Mr. Richard Wayne Jones passed away at his home on Sept. 27, 2024 in Lake City, Florida. He was 79. Mr. Jones  or Wayne, as he was so lovingly known, loved to spend time with family, friends and his dog, Brownie. He was preceded in death by his “love”, Janet Jenkins. He leaves behind his “bonus kids”, Travis (Rebecca) Deese and Eric (Scarlett) Deese both of Lake City, Florida, Lavon (Junior) Deese and Pamela (Tony) Beams both of High Springs, Florida; Several grand kids, Amy Bermudez of Texas, Christopher (Ashley) Deese, Lake City, Lena (Morgan) Bruckler, Gainesville, Eric Deese, Lake City, Brian Deese, Lake City, Stephan Krieshbaum, High Springs, Felicia (Andy) Kranz, Ohio and Edwin Deese, High Springs, Florida; also 10 great grandkids. He will be missed by many. The family will have a memorial gathering at a later date. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
