Rocky Tressler, Sr.

Mr. Rocky Tressler, Sr., age 58 of Baldwin, Florida passed away Thursday, December 14 in the First Coast Health and Rehab Center, Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Tressler was born in Pennsylvania and lived there until he moved to Baldwin, Florida over 35 years ago. He worked as a metal fabricator and was employed with Whitley Steel for over 17 years. Mr. Tressler was a member of the Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church, Glen St. Mary, Florida and loved his grandkids and dog. He is preceded in death by his late wife, Betty Jean Tressler and mother, Yvonne Johns. Mr. Tressler is survived by one son, Rocky Tressler, Jr. (Misty) of Baldwin, Florida : one daughter, Maggie Tressler of Macclenny, Florida: his father, Kenneth Tressler of Pennsylvania: one brother, Skip Tressler of Pennsylvania. Six grandchildren, Bryan, Adam, Lillie, Dalton, Luke, and Colton also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Tressler will be held at 2 P.M., Friday, December 22 in the Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church, Glen St. Mary, Florida with Rev. Albert Starling, Pastor officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (one hour before services). Interment will follow the funeral services in Oak Grove Cemetery.
