Roger Eugene Robinson Sr.

Mr. Roger Eugene Robinson, Sr., age 71, of Glen St. Mary, Florida died Sunday, May, 24, in the Heartland Health Care Center, Jacksonville, Florida following a long illness. Mr. Robinson was born in Macclenny, Florida and resided in Glen St. Mary, Florida since 1998. He worked most of life as a landscaper with Robinson Landscaping, Glen St. Mary, Florida. He loved his horses and other animals. He was a member of the Road to Calvary Church, Glen St. Mary, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Ann Robinson, his parents, Claude and Oveda Jean Manning Robinson, Sr. and his brother, Danny Robinson. He is survived by two daughters, Bobbi L. Dyal of Macclenny, Florida and Jean Louise Robinson of Glen St. Mary, Florida: one son, Roger E. Robinson, Jr. of Macclenny, Florida: one sister, Sandra Bish of Ohio: three brothers, Claude Robinson, Jr. of Glen St. Mary, Fla., Tiny Robinson of Macclenny, Fla. and Steve Robinson of Bryceville, Fla.: five grandchildren, Kami Dyal, Kaylyn Dyal, Katie Robinson, Kimberly Morgan and Kensey Eldridge: Seven great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Robinson will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, May 29, in the Road to Calvary Church, Glen St. Mary, Fla. with Rev. Tommy Anderson, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Friday (One hour before services) at the church.
