Mr. Rollin Dencil Davis, age 83, of Macclenny, FL passed away, Sunday, January 7th in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, FL following a brief illness. Mr. Davis was born in Grab, Kentucky and was a resident of Baker County, FL since 1985. He worked at Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company, Louisville, KY for 19 years and Swisher International, Jacksonville, FL for 19 years until his retirement. Mr. Davis was a longtime Mason and member of Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, FL. He was a certified scuba diver and enjoyed golf and fishing. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Rollin and Vera Moran Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Scotland Harvey Davis: daughters, Tanna L. Mosier and Debra Darnell both of Bedford, Indiana: one step-son, Richard Harvey, Jr. (Rachel) of Sanderson, FL: one brother, Steve Davis (Judy) of Louisville, Kentucky: four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 11 step great-grandchildren, and 7 step-great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Davis will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, January 11th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Pastor Davis Thomas officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (one hour prior to services). Interment will take place in Oak Grove of the Nolynn Association Cemetery in Greensburg, KY.
