Mr. Ronnie Winford Norris, Sr., age 85, of Lake City, Florida died Saturday, Aug. 14, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. He had resided in Lake City all of his life and worked as a truck driver for Cypress Truck Lines, Jacksonville, Florida for over 25 years. He was a member of the First Advent Christian Church of Lake City, Florida and a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Some of his most enjoyable time was spent riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Norris, His parents, Wilbur and Eunice Albritton Norris and his grandparents who raised him, S.S. and Janie Albritton. He is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann (Tom) Rumer of Orlando, Florida and Theresa Norris-Flake (Ricky) of Lake City, Florida: one son, Ronnie (Toni) Norris, Jr. of Lake City, Florida: Eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Norris will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, Aug. 18, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Lake City, Florida with Pastor Romey Luke of Falling Creek Chapel officiating.
