Mrs. Rosemary Motherwell, age 68, of Sanderson, Florida died Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the Acosta-Rau Center for Caring, Jacksonville, Fla. following an extended illness.
She was a native of Memphis, Tennessee and had resided in Green Cove Springs, Fla. before moving to Sanderson, Fla. in 1994. She worked as a store manager for numerous McDonald's Restaurants until her retirement from Orange Park McDonald's Restaurant after 29 years of service. She served as a poll worker for the Baker County Supervisor of Elections Baxter precint. She enjoyed reading and cleaning her families households.
She was the widow of the late John Arthur Motherwell, She is survived by her daughter, Roseanne (Chuck) Austin of Green Cove Springs, Fla.: Her son, Robert (Brenda) Allen of St. Augustine, Fla.: Two grandchildren, Amanda Allen and Emily Allen: Three siblings, bobbie, Sue, and Johnny: Her close friend, Jessie Harvey.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, Oct. 19, in the North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, Fla. with Rev. Billy Worthington, Pastor of Kyler Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 18, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Fla.
