Rosemary Wood

Mrs. Rosemary Wood, age 62, of Lake City, Florida died Tuesday, March 4, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida following a long illness. Mrs. Wood was born in Arlington, Texas and had resided in Lake City, Florida for the past 60 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Elim Baptist Church, Fort White, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Daniel Wood, Sr. and her parents, Wesley G. and Stella Grisset Pate. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Wood of Fort White, Fla.: three sons, Charles Wood of Fort White, Fla., Alan Wood of Panama City, Fla. and John Wood, Jr. of Starke, Fla.: one brother, Tommy Davis of Lake City, Fla.: Eight grandchildren also survive. A graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Wood will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, March 18, in Oak Grove Cemetery, Columbia County, Fla. with Rev. Larry Sweat, Pastor of Elim Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 10:45 A.M. Thursday at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
