Roy Whit Aderholt

Mr. Roy Whit Aderholt, age 82, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Tuesday, July 18, in the HCA Lake City Hospital, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mr. Aderholt was born in High Springs, Florida and lived most of his life in Lake City, Florida. He served as a state trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol for many years until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member for over 50 years with the Branford, Fla. Masonic Lodge #130 and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #112 of Branford, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reba Faye Aderholt and his parents, Roy and Maggie Hale Aderholt. He is survived by two cousins, Ruby Williams and Robert Aderholt. Mr. Aderholt requested a graveside funeral service which will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, July 24, in the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery, 3449 N.E. County Road 340, High Springs, Florida with Masonic and Eastern Star services requested. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
