Roy Cecil Dice, 73, a resident of Taylor, Florida passed away August 1, 2011 at his home. Mr Dice was a lifelong resident of Baker County and is the son of the late Theodore and Lettie Hodge Dice. He had worked for Continental Can, Maxwell House and the Baker County Schoo System and retired in 1999. He loved to run dogs and play softball. He was the coach for the Taylor Church softball team. He was also an umpire for the Baker County little league. Survivors include his wife Margie Harvey Dice, Taylor, Fl. One daughter: Candy Dice, Jacksonville, Fl. One son: Darrell D. Dice, Taylor, Fl. One brother: Ray Dice, Lake City, Fl. Five grandchildren, Chase Norman, Dee Dee Dice, Darla Dice, Angel Dice and Cherity Dice and one great grandson, Braxton Levi Burnsed. Funeral services for Mr. Dice will be conducted Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lord's Church, Taylor, Florida with the Rev. David Griffis and the Rev. Bobby Griffin, officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Creek Cemetery, Sanderson, Fl. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Guerry Funeral Home, 420 E. Macclenny Ave., Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
