Ruth Ann Alexander, 74, a resident of Lake City, Florida died Monday, November 28, 2011 in the North Florida Regional Hospital, Gainesville, Fl. following a sudden illness.
She was a native of Arlington, Massachusetts and had resided in Lake City for the past 60 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed salt water fishing and duck hunting. She was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and the Ducks Unlimited. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph F. and Harriett Heisler McCall and her late husband, Leon H. Alexander, M.D.
She is survived by her daughter Sue (David) Adel, Lake City, Fl. Two Sons, Harry Pearce of Miconopy, Fl. and Joseph (Cornelia) Pearce of Orlando, Fl. Four Grandchildren, Daniel, Patrick, Trey and Trevor, One Great Granddaughter, Aubry. Her pet cat, Junior.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Louie Mabry, Pastor, officiating.
