Ruth Ann Bourdon

Mrs. Ruth Ann Bourdon, 78 of Lake City passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at her home. A native of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Mrs. Bourdon had lived in Lake City 1999 having moved here from Haverhill, Massachusetts. She was an inspector for Compugraphics in Wilmington, Massachusetts for twelve years. Mrs. Bourdon was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Charles Bourdon.

Mrs. Bourdon is survived by two sons, Steven (Paula Richardson) Shaw, Lake City and John Shaw, Jr., Haverhill, Mass. and one daughter, Cathy Morrison, Haverhill, Mass. One brother, Bob (Betty) Loring, Orlando, five grandchildren, Danielle Shaw, Katy Shaw, Michelle Johnston, Eric (Ashley) Shaw and Jeremy Shaw and two great grandchildren, Teylah and Kiana Johnston also survive.

A memorial gathering honoring Mrs. Bourdon will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 between the hours of 1:00-4:00PM at the family’s home. For directions please contact, Steven Shaw at 386-758-0940. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Humane Society in honor of Mrs. Bourdon. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of GUERRY Funeral Home, 2659 SW Main Blvd., Lake City.
