Ruth Sims Wheaton, long time resident of Macclenny, Florida, widow of Army Lt. Col. Paul Ross Wheaton Sr and mother of Sandra Wheaton Nash (David )Midland, VA, James D Wheaton ( Sandra)Macclenny, Kathryn Smith ( John) Harpers Ferry, WVA went to be with the Lord on Friday November 14,2014.Ruth was born December 23,1928, in Ousley, Ga. the youngest child of Flora Belle Morgan Sims and William Fender Sims.She is preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, and two sisters and her great granddaughter Rylee Christine Wheaton. Ruth was a master beautician by trade. Ruth leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.Ruth will be buried alongside her husband in Arlington National Cemetery. Visitation will be at Guerry Funeral Home in Macclenny from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday November 18, 2014. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday November 19, 2014 at 2PM at Guerry Funeral home Macclenny, Fl.
